Lickity Split

My girls LOVE ice cream! When Ximena lists fun things that she wants to do ice cream almost always makes the list.

My Dad loves ice cream too, and you can always count on at least one tub of Breyer's ice cream in my parents freezer.

My Grandma used to love eating ice cream and as a child I remember watching her stir her ice cream till it was smooth swirls in her bowl.

Since it is summer and warm we have been  indulging in this cool treat on a regular basis.

On Saturday we met up with tio Ryan and grabbed lunch at the food cart pod  on 43rd and Belmont. We finished off with ice cream from Fifty Licks.

This stuff is dangerously good! I think we tried all the flavors and there was not one that did not sing! I ended up with the passion fruit with szechuan peppercorn sorbet. It was sweet and tart and SUPER refreshing!
