In the summer time

  

   

The sun was hot today and the sky was a bright clear blue.

The girls and I headed over to 'the farm' to spend the morning with my mom, sisters and their entourage of little ones.

We picked the last of the blueberries small and sweet.

 Ximena declared she liked to pick the "pink blueberries"! Kami busily alternated between hunting for berries from the bushes to my bowl.

My sisters and I picked sweet blackberries and shiny red currents. The currents were bright red and so beautiful to look at.

We added sugar and vodka to the ripe fruit and placed it on the shelf to rest.
